Sullivan failed to mention Trump in his government-funded ad blitz
A four-page campaign ad from Sen. Dan Sullivan, paid for with government dollars, has landed in the mailboxes of every “residential customer” in Alaska.
Sullivan should have paid for this document with his own money, not with tax dollars.
He should repay the government and write a check from the millions that he is raising for his campaign.
Adorned with a photo of Sullivan and his wife Julie, the print version of Sullivan’s pre-election campaign ad is notable for many reasons, three of which are things he didn’t mention.
He failed to mention the name of Donald Trump, the man who continues to keep Sullivan on a short leash.
He failed to mention the name Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Instead he brags about this and that on all four pages. It’s a me-me-me-me-me-me boast-a-rama.
He failed to mention the real name of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which he calls the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, attempting to put lipstick on that pig.
Sullivan unleashed a 25-page letter about the bill on July 28, 2025 in which he called it the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and repeated the letters OBBA 101 times.

Four months later, Sullivan erased all mention of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act from his 25-page letter and claimed it was the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, the name approved by the party bosses.
He backdated his letter to July 28, to make it appear that he is not running away from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act name, which he is.
