Sullivan asks small campaign donors to help pay his Golden Age gasoline bills

Sen. Dan Sullivan says he needs help from donors who can chip in $3, $5 or $10 to help pay his campaign gas bills.

His campaign has sent out a fund-raising pitch that says he needs donations to pay for fuel, the price of which leaped after Trump went to war with Iran. Sullivan has been a Trump cheerleader on this and every other topic.

"To continue ushering in America's Golden Age and delivering results for Alaska, I'm personally reaching out to you to ask for a grassroots donation of $3, $5, or $10,” Sullivan asked.

“Your donation will instantly go to the funds to: Recruit volunteers; Run digital ads; Invest in integral mailpieces to keep Alaska voters up to date; Pay for gas as we visit isolated rural areas of Alaska,” the Sullivan campaign said.

“I would be so grateful if you joined my team today,” he said in an e-mail first reported by Raw Story.

Paying for gas to visit isolated rural areas of Alaska puts a new spin on energy dominance, the mindless mantra of Trump world. It’s the political equivalent of parking yourself at a busy intersection with a sign that says “Anything helps. God bless.”

The Sullivan plea for gas in the tank is a self-inflicted campaign wound that will last. Challenger Mary Peltola and others will make sure that no one misses it.

Sullivan has been quiet on Golden Age fuel bills, but don’t forget that four years ago, when Putin attacked Ukraine, Sullivan said the rise in gasoline prices to $4.70 a gallon in Anchorage was entirely Biden’s fault. He was appalled at how much it had cost him to fill up his truck.

“Had it been fully empty it would have been $142 to fill up the tank of one truck. In America. Devastating to working families, but nobody’s being fooled. Nobody’s being fooled,” said Sullivan, appearing with other Republicans equally outraged at the price of gasoline in 2022.

Sullivan said Biden was to blame because oil prices had risen to more than $100 a barrel.

To back up his claim that nobody was being fooled, Sullivan took a photo of a sticker pasted on an Anchorage gas pump that showed an image of Biden and the words “I did that!”

“This was what literally was on the pump in my home state,” said Sullivan, acting as if the placement of the sticker by as gas pump vandal proved that Biden was the culprit. nt.

“Joe Biden. I did that! I did that! Alright? Nobody in America’s being fooled. This isn’t Putin. This is Biden,” said Sullivan on April 6, 2022.

“He did that!” said Sullivan, pointing to the “I did that!” Biden sticker as other GOP senators stood by, agreeing that Biden did that!

Biden and his underlings were “crushing the American working family with higher energy prices” by making them pay $4.70 a gallon for gas, according to Sullivan.

Three months ago on Sean Spicer’s podcast, Sullivan celebrated Trump’s State of the Union speech, the Golden Age of America, America’s Comeback and the Trump Energy Dominance campaign.

Sullivan was ecstatic about Trump’s speech and how Trump had lowered gas prices. Biden “literally” attacked the oil industry, according to Sullivan. But Trump was helping everyone save money with his brilliance.

“You know, lowering energy costs, the president talked about that. You know he said look that is a big tax break. We’re down I think almost 50 percent for gas at the pump during the Biden’s administration’s high, in terms of gasoline. That is a huge lowering of the cost of living in every state, certainly in my state,” said Sullivan.

Energy dominance. Golden Age. Trump did it.
