Sen. Dan Sullivan is repeating the lie by Donald Trump and other Republicans that Senate Democrats shut down the government because they want “Medicaid for illegals” in the United States.
“Look at what they want,” he said on Hugh Hewitt’s right-wing radio show, “A trillion dollars of spending in the next four weeks. Once again, Medicaid for illegals.”

But Sullivan couldn’t move a muscle to take on Donald Trump’s plan to use the military to fight his political opponents in the United States and Trump’s reckless claim about the “enemy within.”
