The Dunleavy administration, bowing to demands of the Republican Party and Sen. Dan Sullivan, claimed Thursday that Petersburg Dan Sullivan, an Alaska resident for about 45 years, is not eligible to run for U.S. Senate because of his name.
This should be challenged in court. I expect Petersburg Dan will prevail, as he has every right to run for the U.S. Senate.

“The next two months are going to be some of the most exciting months in Alaska’s history,” Dunleavy said. “I’m not making that up. I wouldn’t stick my neck out to say something stupid.”
